TAYLOR-MADE PRESS HISTORY

Taylor-Made Press, Inc. opened in 1990 in Dallas, Texas, when former Dallas Times Herald arts and entertainment journalist Lisa Taylor started consulting with arts clients.

Dedicated to promoting culture, Taylor-Made Press helped launch Arts & Letters Live, the sold-out literary series at the Dallas Museum of Art, as well as the Dallas Video Festival and The McKinney Avenue Contemporary.

Taylor-Made Press has also helped other newcomers to the arts scene such as the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Crow Collection of Asian Art, the new Meadows Museum, and Sammons Jazz. It currently markets the Dallas Architecture Forum, The Edith Baker Art Scholarship of the Dallas Art Dealers Association, and La Reunion TX, the new artist residency.

Other noteworthy current projects include the marketing and publicity of the world theatrical premiere of Neil Young’s Greendale at Undermain Theatre, the final UNT concert of Anshel Brusilow and the establishment of a Chair at UNT in his honor, and the new Design District location of Pan American Art Projects. Recent projects include marketing KERA-TV’s documentary film on theater pioneer Margo Jones and two visual art documentaries by filmmaker Quin Mathews.

Past clients include Dallas Social Venture Partners, Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture, The State Fair of Texas, Dallas Theater Center, TITAS, Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Office of Cultural Affairs-City of Dallas, and DNA Productions, creators of the film and TV series Jimmy Neutron.
